SQL Server 2012 Reporting is a comprehensive, highly scalable solution that enables real-time decision making across the enterprise by enabling the creation, management and delivery reports for pixel-perfect printing, interactive web viewing, and ad hoc data exploration.

In this occasion we will see how to create a tabular report (data sources, datasets), give context (title, headers and footers), formatting (expressions), grouping and actions (jump reports) on Premise and in Azure.

With the release of SQL Server 2012 Microsoft introduced a bunch of new functionalities into their product, including a whole set of tools that can make your life a whole lot easier. In this session we will go through the different scenarios where the SSDTs can be used and help you develop and/or administer your databases in a whole new way and without the need of third party tools.

He currently works as a Consultant at Nagnoi, Inc. and has more than six years of experience as Business Intelligence and applications developer. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and his experiences include Data Warehousing implementations, ETL development using SSIS, metadata modeling and reporting using SSAS, Cognos and SSRS respectively. Mr. Caicedo has also extensive experience developing comprehensive web-based and mobile solutions.
